VSE supports a variety of helicopter programs through comprehensive logistics planning and analysis support on behalf of both U.S. and allied militaries.
VSE has supported helicopter platforms such as the CH-53 Super Stallion, UH-1 Huey, AH-1 Cobra, and HH-1 Iroquois through services including: developing procedures and alternative methods for quantitative and qualitative assessment of maintenance and logistics support system performance during, and after Fleet introduction, initial operations and first deployment; drafting ILS supportability specifications; and performing ILS cost, readiness, maintainability, and supportability assessments through various acquisition phases.
In addition to comprehensive support to US military rotorcraft, VSE has also performed an S-70B helicopter operations feasibility study for the Royal Thai Navy and developed helicopter recovery systems for Turkey, and supported the integration of aviation operations utilizing the Sh-2G (E) SeaSprite helicopter for the Egyptian Navy. |
