VSE provides total lifecycle support to military aircraft, ranging from acquisition planning to integrated logistics support to fleet-wide maintenance management.
One of the highlights of VSE’s full-spectrum capabilities is the F/A-18 E/F program. VSE researched, analyzed and authored the F/A-18E/F Acquisition Logistics Support Plan NAVAIR used to justify the planned purchase of 752 aircraft and has continued to support the program to this day– developing, integrating, and maintaining the F/A-18 Automated Maintenance Environment (AME), which has delivered 30% annualized savings in reduced maintenance costs and cost avoidance.
VSE has also provided support such as short/long range engine forecasting requirements, assessments of maintenance and logistics support systems, and maintainability and supportability assessments for a variety of other manned aircraft including the C-130, F-14 Tomcat, V-22 Osprey, AV-8 Harrier, E-2C Hawkeye, A-6 Intruder, and EA-6B Prowler. |
