VSE’s ship habitability support services ensure that a ship’s most critical assets, its crew, operates at full readiness and effectiveness.

As part of its ongoing shipboard installation and maintenance services to the U.S. Navy, VSE performs habitability upgrades which have included installation of lighting in crew living spaces, telephone systems, Local Area Network (LAN) systems, cable television systems, metal and glass shredders, and plastic waste processors. VSE has also installed women-at-sea berthing modifications and air conditioning (A/C) modifications.
