VSE provides management and strategic planning support to R&D programs aimed at improving the supply and delivery of energy to the nation. VSE provides planning and analysis support to clients in making informed decisions on: energy policies; regulatory and market-driven issues, demand-side management (DSM) strategies, transmission and distribution technologies, superconducting technologies, hydrogen systems, and energy storage systems.
VSE supports all phases of R&D planning, implementation, and evaluation of: advanced fuels, technology programs (i.e., oil, gas, coal), and advanced generation technologies, such as clean coal technologies, fuel cell technologies, and advanced combustion techniques.
